Jeep Tour to Karavastà Lagoon

Jeep Safari in Karavastà lagoon is the tour that shouldn’t
be missed. The tour starts in the morning. We will pick you
up at the Hotel, we will drive through the sandy off-road of
the National Park of Divjake, from the pine forest to the
sandy beach Karavastà lagoon is the largest offshore
wetland in Albania. Definitely the most beautiful lagoon on
the Adriatic coast, it is located about 1 hour drive from the
hotel.

A trip along the sandy belt between the Karavastà and the
Godulla lagoons in the southern part of Divjaka is fasci-
nating and full of surprises. Three channels connect the
two lagoons, brackish water habitats can be studied on
both sides and all forms of Mediterranean forests and
shrubs are present.
Luckily, you will meet two main bird species: the Dalmatian
pelican bird and the flamingos. Karavastà lagoon is an
oasis of biodiversity, between wetlands, floodplains, salt
marshes, coastal dunes, pine forests and reeds.
